“If you can control a man's thinking you do not have to worry about his actions. When you determine what a man shall think you do not have to concern yourself about what he will do. If you make a man feel that he is inferior, you do not have to compel him to accept an inferior status, for he will seek it himself. If you make a man think that he is justly an outcast, you do not have to order him to the back door. He will go without being told; and if there is no back door, his very nature will demand one.”
― Carter G. Woodson, The Mis-Education of the Negro 1. Who is the intended audience? 2. Interpret the quote? 3. What are the Instructions to the reader/hearers? 4. Write a "Re-Quote" (your parallel version of the quote)

The intended audience is people that has african Americans working for them. The quote means that since you already know what the person actions normally are then therefore you dont have think about them doing other wise. If someone is wrapped around your finger then there is no need to tell them what to do because they know already. "A man will find a way through no way without being told"

The intented audience is the women. The quote means if u control a mans thinking that means you will control everything else in his body and actions because the mind is the most powerful system in the body that controls it. The instructions is to control a mans thinking. My re-quote is to control a mans actions to make it how u want him to act is to control his thinking.

The intended audience are people that let others get into their mind and control there actions. I think this quote is about how people dont control their own actions. If you tell a man to do something you won't have to worry about what they will do because they are following your teachings. My instructions to the reader would be dont listen to what others say be confident in your own mind and follow your direction.
